- R. Stafford North
R. Stafford North
R. Stafford North taught and served as an administrator for forty-three years at Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts, beginning in 1952. He was named Distinguished Professor of Bible as a result of his outstanding teaching. For thirty-eight years, North served OCUSA as Dean of Instruction, Dean of the College and as Executive Vice President. He led the design and development of the OCUSA Learning Center and Enterprise Square. He served on many accreditation teams and traveled as a lecturer around the world. In 1994, he retired from his administrative position and returned to full-time teaching in the College of Bible. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame in 1997.
