Mary Jane Noble
Mary Jane Noble is one of Oklahoma’s most generous philanthropists. She was appointed to the Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma in March of 1996. She served on the boards of the Oklahoma Heritage Association, the Goddard Art Center, and the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation. During her term as a Noble Foundation trustee, grants were awarded to OU, where the Lloyd Noble Center was expanded and the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History was constructed; to Noble Research Center at OSU; the Nursing Center at Oklahoma City University; and the Student Center at Panhandle State University. Mary Jane Noble was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 1995 and the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame in 1999.
