Jerry B. Farley
Jerry B. Farley had a distinguished career in financial administration at two graduate Oklahoma universities. A Ph.D. graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Higher Education, he began his career in 1974 as Controller at his alma mater. In 1981, he became Associate vice president for Administrative Affairs at OU, then left to join Oklahoma State University in1986 as vice president for Business and Finance. In 1989, he rejoined OU and held two vice presidential positions before retiring in 1997 to become president of Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where he remains currently. Nationally known for his expertise in higher education finance, Farley was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame in 1997.
