- Esther A. Winterfeldt
Esther A. Winterfeldt
Esther A. Winterfeldt served as Associate Dean for Research, Regents Professor, and head of the Department of Food, Nutrition and Institution Administration at Oklahoma State University from 1970 to 1985. Her career spanned more than forty-five years in the field of dietetics at hospitals and universities throughout the United States. She received the Distinguished Dietician Award from the Oklahoma Dietetics Association in 1986, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from Ohio State University in 1983. In 1993, she received the Marjorie Hulsizer Copher Award, the highest honor given by the American Dietetics Association. A member of the Journal board of directors, Winterfeldt was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame in 2002.
