Bob R. Agee
Bob R. Agee served as president of Oklahoma Baptist University from 1982 to 1998, when he was named president emeritus. During his administration, student enrollment increased by more than 70 percent, eleven new buildings were constructed, and twelve more halls and classrooms underwent major reconstruction. Endowment growth increased from $11 million to more than $60 million. Active in national affairs, Agee served on numerous educational and corporate boards. Following retirement, he became Executive Director of the Association of Southern Baptist Colleges and Schools, with headquarters in Jackson, Tennessee. Agee was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame in 1999.
